Competition FAQ

How does the Veridium Trading Competition work?

Participants trade in a simulated $100,000 competition account while following structured risk limits. Rankings are based on overall performance, but only compliant accounts that remain within the competition rules are eligible for prizes.

What can winners receive?

1st place receives a $100k 1-Step Challenge Plan, 2nd place receives a $50k 1-Step Challenge Plan, and 3rd place receives a $25k 1-Step Challenge Plan. Only compliant accounts in good standing are eligible.

Are there risk rules?

Yes. The competition uses a $100,000 simulated starting balance, a 7% static maximum drawdown, and a 5% daily loss limit. Breaching these limits may result in disqualification.

What products are included?

Competition availability may vary by product. Check the active competition details before joining. Currently competitions are only FX & CFDs, and Futures.

Which trading platforms are used?

Typically each competition is held either on Gooeytrade or CTrader. Note that CTrader is availalable to non US residents only.

How are rankings determined?

Rankings are based on percentage return while remaining compliant with all competition rules and risk limits.

Can disqualified accounts still receive prizes?

No. Accounts that breach competition rules or drawdown limits are not eligible for prizes, even if they achieve one of the highest returns.

Can I enter more than once?

Unless otherwise stated, each participant may only enter once. Duplicate entries linked to the same person, device, IP address, or identifying information may result in disqualification.

When must prizes be claimed?

Prizes must be claimed within 3 months after the competition ends

Is this live trading?

No. The competition is conducted in a simulated trading environment using demo accounts and structured risk parameters.
